About PayPal
At this time Pied Piper Publishing uses the widely accepted PayPal system to process all payments. When you finish the last step in your order you will be taken to PayPal's login, where you can also create a PayPal account if you don't already have one. From within PayPal you will be able to use a wide variety of payment methods. To Order 1) You must Create an Account to Order and you must Log In to pay for an order. 2) If you do not complete payment through PayPal we will only receive a Purchase Order Number marked Pending, which we will cancel after 24 hours without a notification of payment from Paypal. 3) If you complete the final stage of the ordering process on the PPP site but never log into PayPal, then you have not paid for your order and our site will not change the status of your purchase order to confirmed. 4) If the above steps do not allow payment to proceed, then log into Paypal and send the order manually: In the Paypal NOTES field, include your Purchase Order number (we already will have a copy of this), your order total (including shipping), and your current mailing address. You will receive a receipt from Paypal noting your transaction; this also means that Paypal has notified PPP of your payment.
5) If either your purchase order status has been changed to confirmed, or if you log into PayPal and send us a notification of payment for a pending purchase order number, then you can be absolutely certain that your order is in progress with us. 6) When we have shipped your order you will receive another email notifying you that the status of your purchase order has been changed to shipped. 7) If you have not yet paid for a previously created purchase order, you can access it from within your account on our Website, where you are given an option to initiate payment on that order. This is far more simple than creating another purchase order. Known Browser Incompatibilities FireFox released a new update on 03/05/09, but we aren't certain yet if this has fixed the following problem. IE7 and Firefox 3.06 for Windows are incompatible with our site (though strangely they sometimes work, and Macintosh Firefox 3.0.6 works). These new browsers prevent the hand-off of the payment to Paypal. They will take you to a bad log-in at PayPal instead. Some of our clients have been able to create a purchase order and after failing at the Paypal prompt they return to their account and click on the order and then click on the Paypal button and it allows them to complete their payment. We are working to resolve this issue, but we are dependent upon updates from our Store Service. As the newest version of FF is very new, we cannot guess when developers will update this.
