Many years ago Creations Unlimited, Inc. published five separate works by Robert J. Kuntz under the World of Kalibruhn™ line of products--the four volumes in the "Maze of Zayene" series and The Garden of the Plantmaster. These works used an abbreviation set which allowed gamers a quick and easy way of incorporating the adventures into their own game system(s). Hereafter follows that same abbreviation set which was popularized in 1986 and is now updated for Pied Piper's current and upcoming works.

Main Ability Abbreviations

St- Strength/Brawn
In- Intelligence/IQ
Ap- Appeal (often known as leadership ability, charisma, personal magnetism)
Ws- Wisdom (also insight)
V- Vitality (also constitution)
Ag- Agility (also dexterity, manual aptitude, etc.)
Bt- Beauty (also comeliness, handsomeness, etc.)

General Abbreviations (Summary)

MI- Magic Immunity (also magic resistance, magic fortitude; also used to indicate SR’s which are above average or different in some way)
MP- Melee Prowess (melee capability of monster/being: MP: F7 stands for melee prowess, level 7 Fighter)
SR- Saving Rolls (or saves)
CL- Character-Level: A variant of MP, used chiefly to indicate player- or non-player-character/persona MP only
Al- Alignment (a persona’s religious, moral or social disposition)
AT- Armor Type. Either expressed as factors of less than or greater than 0 depending on the gam system; also expressed in armor terms, such as plate mail, splint mail, with bonus factors added in to represent toughness of make, etc. Splint mail +5 factors, etc.
Dm- Damage
EX- A reward value assigned in some rules for determining advancements or achievements by a player’s character or persona
GM- Game Master (also known as Campaign Master, Judge, etc.)
SP- Special (attacks, defenses, abilities, weapons, powers, etc.)
ft- feet
M- Moves (usually in game inches, yards, or segments thereof). Also Mv
D- Type of die, or dice, used. D6 equals a six-sided die, etc.
NA- Number Appearing (used to indicate a range of beings, monsters or personas)
Htk- Hits to kill
Atk- Range/numbers of attacks possible
Lair- Chance for being in residence or dwelling, usually expressed in a numerical range
Persona/Character Types: F Fighter, Mg Mage, Pr Priest, Fr Fighter (ranger), El Elementalist, Hw (Holy warrior), Iw (Illusion weaver), A Assassin, T/B Thief/Burglar, etc.
/flying speed- airborne movement rate, usually expressed in feet or yards
//swimming speed- waterborne and submerged movement, usually expressed in feet or yards
Order- Rank or power level of spell-, rune-, or symbol-use. “A 1st-Order spell”; or a Rune of the 6th Order,” etc.
Coinage (pieces or bits): gold (gp or gb); silver (sp or sb); electrum (ep or eb);platinum (pp or pb), brass (bp or bb), etc.
Time: The measurement of time when personas are acting out the game circumstances is expressed in Mv phases (also Mv). Movement phases are arbitrary depending on the task or action attempting to be completed. GMs will decide these for the most part based upon their rules system.
